‘Rip-Stop fabric with the reinforced fibres (has no analogues in Russian market) has been developed at the request and with the participation of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
In 2006 ‘Rip-Stop fabric’ was three times awarded the title of ‘The Unique Product for the Logistic Services of the RF Armed Forces’, and it confirmed its title in 2007. In 2008 the new fabrics in the ‘Rip-Stop’ line – ‘Rip-Stop Cotton 220’ (100% cotton) and ‘Rip-Stop Cotton Rich 220’ (50% cotton and 50% polyether) - were recognized ‘The Best Domestic Product for RF Armed Forces’.

Reinforced fibre consists of:
Polyester core (monofilament), which strength and durability is many times more than that of blended and cotton yarn
Cotton braid that guarantees preservation of the fabric’s hygienic properties at the same level as for materials made of 100% cotton and excluding negative effects of polyester.
Reinforced fibres are embedded into the fabric structure at intervals of 5 to 6 mm or of 6 to 7 mm depending on the fabric’s article, and thus form ultra-high-strength ‘grid’ that:
Considerably increases strength and durability properties of the fabric without increasing its weight
Prevents enlargement of the damage area in case of the fabric’s mechanical damage (cut, tear).
Advantages in comparison with ordinary ‘blended fabrics’:
Safety and protection
Breaking load is 20-40% more
Rip load is 30-60% more
Abrasion resistance is 20-50% higher.
Comfort and hygiene
Hygroscopity index is 20-30% higher
Air permeability index is 60% higher
Ultra-high-strength is not accompanied by increase in the fabric’s weight.
