The fabric with acid resistant finishing features acid resistance and protects the people from skin contact with a 50% (Ê-50) or 80% (Ê-80) sulfuric acid solution: acid drops roll down off the fabric surface, or, if the fabric surface is horizontal, do not penetrate it during 6 hours (for Ê-50) or 1.5 hours (for Ê-80).

The operation mechanism of the acid resistant finishing is based on molecular protection of fabric fibres that prevents the fabric from interacting with sulfuric acid solutions. Moreover, ‘Premier’ fabrics contain polyester fibre that features high chemoresistance. It guaranties additional protection of human skin from contact with acid.
