Tchaikovsky Textile announces Management Changes
Tchaikovsky Textile announces changes in the holding company’s management and shareholders.
From June 1, 2011, a controlling stake in Tchaikovsky Textile was taken over by an investment company that had not earlier held any textile assets. The investment company bought out all shares of Gennady A. Glushkov, the main shareholder and President of Tchaikovsky Textile Group for the past 20 years.
The new Board of Shareholders has retained continuity in managing the holding company. Evgeny V. Titov who has been with the Company for over 5 years as the Vice President of Development was elected the new President. Ilya L. Stolbov, Vice President in charge of finances, was promoted to First Vice President. Tatiana F. Lavrenchuk who has been with the holding company for over 30 years will remain Production Director of the Tchaikovsky Textile Group.
Gennady A. Glushkov, President Emeritus, will offer expert support to the Company. “Significant changes have recently been going on in the domestic overalls and uniform market: consolidation of market players who now have greater potential to influence the market and enhancement of the management culture. I am positive that new shareholders will boost the Company’s innovations while conserving the best traditions and accumulated experience, breathing new vigor into the Company – in terms of finances and philosophy. On my part, I will try to back up their effort sharing our rich knowledge and experience,” said Mr. Glushkov.

Logistics
Since December 2009 the logistics structure of the Group was changed: in order to optimize logistics and decrease transportation expenses and improve operational efficiency of deliveriesthe shipping of fabrics started to be executed through two logistics centers – in Balashikha (Moscow region) and in Tchaikovskiy (Perm region). Moscow center serves clients of Central, Southern, North-Western and Volga regions. Tchaikovsky center serves clients from Urals, Siberia and other regions of Russia and CIS.
Modern production
Tchaikovsky Textile constantly improves its technical and technological capabilities in accordance with the latest international achievements.
Nearly 20 million dollars have been invested for a complete technical factory reequipment from 2000 to 2005. This allowed the company to install more than 160 new machines and textile machinery units, create powerful technological lines, equipment of which were supplied and assembled by the world famous manufacturers: Hergeth Hollingsworth , Marzoli, Rieter, Spinnereimaschinenbau spinning equipment; Biancalani, Biella Shrunk, Elitex, Kuesters, Marzoli, Stork, Zellweger Uster, Wakayama finishing equipment.
